Chase Hospitality Group Privacy Policy

We are fully committed to providing you with information about the collection and use of personal data furnished by, or collected from you whilst using our websites, products and services; and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose this information.


This policy describes our practices in connection with information that we collect through websites operated by us from which you are accessing this Privacy Policy (the “Websites”), through the software applications made available by us for use on or through computers and mobile devices (the “Apps”), through our social media pages that we control from which you are accessing this Privacy Policy (collectively, our “Social Media Pages”), as well as through HTML-formatted email messages that we send to you that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, including the Websites, the Apps and our Social Media Pages, the “Services”). By providing Personal Information to us, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. 


1. WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION 

We collect information about our restaurant guests and web site visitors so that we may provide a CHG experience that is responsive to our valued guests' and visitors' needs. In order to fulfil this purpose, we may collect personal data or information relating to you that are able to identify you, directly or indirectly.

 If we use your data in this way, we do not attempt to identify you or to single out information on an individual level. If we do want to identify you or single you out, we will make it clear when we collect the information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

 

2. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

• Through the Services: We may collect Personal Information through the Services, e.g., when you sign up for our newsletter or make a purchase. 

• Offline: We may collect Personal Information from you offline, such as when you visit our restaurants, place an order over the phone or contact us. 

• Third Party Sources: We may receive your Personal Information from other sources, such as public databases; joint marketing partners; social media platforms; from people with whom you connected on social media platforms; and from other third parties who are enlisted by CHG to collect, store, process and manage Personal Information. The Service Providers with whom we conduct business are authorized to use Personal Information only to perform the service for which they are contracted to. When we use other companies to perform services on our behalf, we will always require that such companies protect your Personal Information consistent with this Privacy Policy.


3. WHAT TYPE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

 

By visiting or using our Sites, we may collect the following categories of personal information that you provide to us: name; email address; postal address; phone number (including your mobile phone number); other information you provide on our Sites; and other information you may provide about yourself or others to our Sites or to which you provide us with access via from third-party websites, applications, and services (each, a “third-party platform“).  We may combine this information with information we collect on our Sites.

We also use third-party payment services to process payments made through the Services. If you wish to make a payment through the Services, your Personal Information may be collected by such third party and not by us and will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy, rather than this Privacy Policy. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, this third party’s collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information. 

If you submit any personal information relating to other people to us or to our service providers in connection with the Services, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

 

       4.       HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


The main purpose for collecting your personal data is to allow us to provide you with the requested services such as processing a transaction. Information may be collected for the following purposes:

  • fulfilling restaurant reservation or information requests;

  • purchasing ticketed events at our restaurants

  • responding to our communications (e.g., surveys, promotional offers, and reservation confirmations) 

  • accommodating your personal preferences;

  • working with third party sources with your consent, including processing information you make available via social networking and other web sites, to better assist us with understanding your interests and to serve you better;

  • updating your contact information in our guest database; including your phone number, email address and other provided particulars


We may also ask your permission to use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • sending you direct marketing messages and communications in relation to the products and services offered by CHG, our strategic marketing partners, and other trusted third parties;

  • conducting market research via surveys to better serve your needs, improve the effectiveness of our web sites, your restaurant experience, our various types of communications, advertising campaigns, and/or promotional activities.

  • analyze personal data to better understand our customers’ needs, improve our services and the way in which we operate. The outcome of such analysis will only be aggregate data that will not to be used to identify, single out, or take action towards an individual, but only to analyze trends and other behavior at aggregate level.

 

5. CONSENT AND OPTING OUT:

 

If you no longer wish to receive marketing communication from us, you may, at any time, opt out of CHG marketing emails relating to our offerings and services by clicking on the link that is included in all such communications.

In your request, please clearly state what personal information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have it suppressed from our database, or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of it. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. 

 

Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such change or deletion. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed. 


Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt-out. 


 

 

 

 

 

6. DELETION AND RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA:

 

Your personal data will be kept in a form which enables us to identify you for no longer than it is necessary for the purposes for which we collected and use your data, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Some type of information may be stored indefinitely due to technical constraints beyond our control, but which will be blocked from further processing for purposes which are not mandatory by law.

 

7. ACCESSING, UPDATING AND REMOVING YOUR PERSONAL DATA:

 

You may request to have your personal data updated, erased or blocked unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. If, upon review, you wish to deactivate your Guest Profile, or update your personal data, we will endeavor to do so as soon as reasonably practicable. You should not always expect that all of your personal data will be completely removed from our databases in response to your request, even though we are regularly reviewing our data retention practices to ensure that personal data, while residing on the systems of CHG and/or CHG’s strategic marketing partners and service providers, will not be actively processed; and be accessed only if required by law.

8.  MINORS:

 

We do not seek to obtain nor receive personal data directly from minors; however, we cannot always determine the age of persons who access and use our websites. If a minor (as defined by applicable law) provides us with his/her data without parental or guardian consent, we encourage the parent or guardian to contact us to have this information removed and to unsubscribe the minor from future CHG marketing communications.

 

 

 

 

 

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Except to the extent limited by applicable law, we reserve the right to update this Policy to reflect changes to our information practices by prominently posting notice of the update on our Site.

The “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any updates will become effective immediately after the updated Policy has been posted and apply to all information collected about you. You are free to decide whether or not to accept a modified version of this Policy, but accepting this Policy, as modified, is required for you to continue using our Services, and your continued use of our Services implies acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
Should you not agree to the terms of this Policy or any modified version of this Policy, your sole recourse is to terminate your use of our Sites. If we make any changes to this Policy that materially impacts previously collected information about you, we will obtain your prior express consent.
